I'm making progress on the control wiring - just taking my time to get it right the first time. I got my first taste of making 2/0 cables today. I thought that with the large crimping tool I bought, it would be a little easier. But no, it's a workout crimping those lugs on the cable. I only have about 50 more to do. I think I'll work on the low voltage stuff for a while.
................................................................Oh, now you tell me.

I guess that's a problem with having lots of batteries. The pack will be limited by the weakest connection. I hear that's it's good advice to feel them after a nice drive to see if they are getting hot. I don't know how feasible that is with your battery stacking. I'm going to go through the same problems after I finish my battery racks as well.
This is getting exciting man!
One question... how come you crimped them vs soldering?
Rock on!

Hey Daniel - Yes, the second best way to test the connections is to feel them after a drive. I have a better method - cheap infrared thermometer :) That will also allow me to easily test the terminals on the lower rack. I actually do have pretty good access to those lower batteries. I have to remove the front restraint (4 nuts) and slide the top batteries over a little.
Inspyre - that is a good question, and one that has been discussed a lot in EV forums. I think I will do a post on why I did mine this way. Check back tomorrow :)
Great to hear! Good luck with the rest of your crimping.
